Legends Racing Series
4th and 7th Place on Brands Hatch GP Circuit - 2/3rd May 2026
Another weekend with lots of progress and an incredible opportunity to race alongside GT Challenge Europe on the full Grand Prix layout at Brands Hatch.
Saturday
Race 1
From the ball draw started P18 and Nathan worked his way through the pack to what was his best result of the season at the time with P7.
Race 2
Nathan started from pole but got shuffled back in the opening laps, eventually finishing P10.
Race 3
Nathan's first wet race in a Legend and only his second wet race ever. Conditions were constantly changing throughout. Started P10 and finished P11.
Sunday
Race 1
Started P10 → Finished P11.
Race 2
Started P8 and made his way up to P3 by the end of lap one. Managed to hold onto P4 despite a pretty big moment at Turn 1. Nathan's best finish of the season
Race 3
Started at the back, then contact at Druids dropped him to last with a huge gap to the rest of the field. Kept pushing and managed to recover to P14.
Massive thanks to @2mate.r for all the hard work this weekend and to @den.devlin for the photos
Lots to build on heading into the next round at Brands Hatch Speedfest in June.

Brands Hatch Flyer- 2/3 May 2026

Donington (BTCC weekend) - 18/19th April 2026
An incredible weekend racing at Donington Park alongside the BTCC, with live coverage on ITV. Nathan went into the weekend with no Friday testing, meaning he had just 10 minutes in qualifying to learn the track. Saturday starting at the back for all three races, the focus was on finishing all them so he could get rid of the Rookie status and enter the ball draw on Sunday.
Saturday
Solid progress across the day, despite starting at the back of the field as a Rookie, gaining positions in every race.
Race 1 - Started 18th → Finished 11th
Race 2 - Started 19th → Finished 13th
Race 3 - Started 19th → Finished 11th (again) . Nathan had to go on the grass to avoid a spinning car down Craners causing him to lose a lot of time at the start then recovered to finish 11th.
Sunday
Sunday first experience with the ball draw
Race 1 – Started 3rd → He got a good start, but was shuffled out of the slipstream train at the end of lap 1, dropping around six positions down the straight. Recovered to finish 10th, and secured 2nd fastest lap.
Race 2 - Started 17th → Finished 12th, setting the fastest lap of the race, which was also the lap record at the time.
Race 3 - Started 9th → Strong opening lap, taking the lead by the end of lap 1. Unfortunately, a small mistake allowed the top two to break away, leaving Nathan without a slipstream. The pack closed in, making it a tough fight to the finish. Finished 8th.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in team 2mater this weekend. The new engine didn't arrive until Friday evening and the team stayed up until 4:30am to fit it and get the car ready for the 9am practice session. The car performed great over the weekend.
Nathan showed he had the pace to compete at the front of the pack setting the 2nd fastest lap time in Heat 1 and fastest lap time in Heat 2. Starting in the ball draw was good experience that Nathan is looking to build upon in the next round at Brands Hatch on the 2nd and 3rd May.

Silverstone - 4/5th April 2026
Nathan Williams, in his rookie season, performed exceptionally well during Friday testing, showing strong pace and consistency. As a Rookie Nathan started at the back of the field for each race (he will no longer have to start from the back from Day 2 at Donington)
Saturday
Qualifying came to an abrupt halt due to a gearbox issue, which meant the #2mater car missed Race 1.
Race 2 – Nathan demonstrated great pace, climbing from P19 to P11 while setting some very competitive lap times.
Race 3 – Starting from the back once again, Nathan fought his way up to P11, showing excellent consistency and enjoying some great battles throughout the race with teammate Mark Beaty and Nick Price
Sunday
Race 1 – Starting from the back, Nathan worked his way up to finish P13 — a solid result.
Race 2 – After avoiding an early incident, Nathan was gapped from the pack. Despite this he managed to move up to finish 11th (again)
Race 3 – Nathan was making strong progress through the field and was on target for a top-10 finish. Unfortunately, while overtaking under braking, there was contact that sent Nathan airborne. When the car came back down, it sustained heavy damage, forcing him to retire from the race. See linked video.
We’d like to thank everyone involved this weekend — the teamwork was incredible. We’ll be back stronger for Donington on the 18th/19th of April with BTCC. We hope to see you there!

The 2026 Legends Season Starts at Silverstone on the 4th and 5th April
Nathan's Legends 2026 campaign will start at the iconic Silverstone circuit on the 4th and 5th April 2026. Having gained experience last year at two rounds in the air cooled engine he will be ready to go in the upgraded water cooled engine which will put him on par in performance with the front runners.

Snetterton - 20/21st September 2025
A weekend full of progress — came away with 3 podiums and even helped the team win the team title. All this despite starting last in every race due to being a rookie.
Race Day 1:
Heat 1: P4 in class — focused on building confidence in the car
Heat 2: P2 in class — stayed with the air-cooled cars all race and grabbed my first podium, just 1.5s off the lead!
Final: P4 in class — caught out on the safety car restart and ended up having a bit of a lonely race
Race Day 2:
Heat 1: P3 in class — caught the air-cooled pack and managed to make a few overtakes finishing just 1 tenth off 2nd
Heat 2: P2 in class — lost 5s early on avoiding a spinning car but pushed hard to catch and overtake the pack ahead
Final: DNF —A chaotic race with a red flag and safety car. Sadly, engine failure on the final lap ended the race early
This weekend was a massive learning opportunity and I now finally feel confident enough in the car to push it and race wheel to wheel.
Huge thanks to everyone at 2mater for giving me to opportunity to race a legend again
And big shoutout to Den Devlin for the amazing photos

Oulton Park - 16 August 2025
Practice: Nathan drove the 2mater car for the first time in practice on the 15th August. As the sessions progressed he consistently produced faster laps. Unfortunately session 4 was curtailed due to brake wear. He thought he had another 1 to 1.5 seconds in lap time he could get.
Race Day: As a new driver in the championship Nathan started at the back of the grid. Unfortunately mechanical issues caused Nathan to DNF in race 1 and race 2. In race 3 on the first lap Nathan moved off the racing line to overtake and hit a patch of oil that had just been dropped by a car further up the field and got beached in the gravel. Overall a disappointing start to racing in the Legends series but positive that with Nathan's practice times he would have been competing for the lead in his class.
